Beaver Hoops Taken To Task In the Jungle

File this one in the "As if things can't get any worse" category....

Jim Rome today spent a few moments blasting the Beavers on his live radio program, "The Jim Rome Show".

The Beavers are suffering through a horrible men's hoops season. Winless in Pac-10 play, the Beaver players for some reason went hostile this weekend before their game against Washington this weekend. Apparently, five OSU players disrupted the UW shoot-around on Friday and called out the UW players. They were reported as saying something to effect of 'Don't disrespect us in spite of our record'. I can only guess that the Beavers were looking for some extra motivation before the next day's game. Well, it didn't work as the Huskies won by more than 30 points.

Rome was quoted as saying, "Back to the shallow end Beavers". The hits just keep on coming!
